The Illinois franchise operation announced after the forecasts for the recovery of 25-years are favorable, but Lovie Smith, Bears head coach, said he will be sidelined the remainder of the season and for the moment there is a date for his return.

"If you look at it, was a brutal blow which he received ... he (Knox), of course, is out for this year, but look to the future which looks bright for the player," said Smith, who said that he believes is not the end of the career of wide receiver.

Local media say that the graduate of Abilene Christian University will be in recovery for three to four months if the surgery is successful, but Chicago has a positive attitude to the health of player three years in the league.
