Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
No doubt this is one of the most anticipated films of recent times and until today we had all signed a document to "doing reviews until Tuesday about 13". Today will see hundreds of 'critical' movie theaters around the world looking for words to draw attention to his opinion. I agree with what director David Fincher said when he learned that the New Yorker critic had broken the embargo: "The truth is that people choose or not to see a movie these days much more personal recommendations and social networks" . But it is still exciting to forward my reactions to such a powerful film.

No doubt there will be purists who refuse to accept that a great heiress of two football empires, as is Rooney Mara, can be an excellent 'Lisbeth Salander', the woman with the dragon tattoo. I understand them, because when I saw the interpretation of Noomi Rapace in the Swedish version of Stieg Larsson's books seemed unthinkable that anyone could overcome. But then I wondered that what this is about? How to overcome it? There is so much interest in this trilogy is no place for more than two versions. As long as you are good. And they are.

There is no competition, not because the European version is better or worse than Fincher. The fact is that both are made with love films about extraordinary novels, emblematic and terribly cruel. As shocking as the worst misogynists who kill women. Fincher intensity is not short to the needs of history and handle it with pride. It makes you do terrible things, does not let you eyes on scenes of outright terror. To me, until I felt guilty pleasure that I caused some violent act of revenge in history. And he does great justice to the extraordinary story incorporating elements like the music of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

The original novel was called Men who hate women, but in English the way someone realized that 'Lisbeth Salander' the dark, damaged and bright 24 year old hacker was definitely the charm of the narrative. Hence the title, interest and pressure to the American actress who really only knew by his brief appearance as Mark Zuckerberg's girlfriend in The Social Network (also Fincher).

For Rooney succeeds. Is transformed. It makes you love her in spite of that you hate and above all fear, all while your message body is "not even think of approaching it. Nor do I see. Not exist. " That makes it infinitely attractive.

What might have against the interpretation of Rooney? Maybe certain times of vulnerability to which we have done our the character baffle us. On a few occasions too aware of his character. Well, books are not the Bible, and if there is one other change that works with the narrative also director of The Fight Club and Seven.

The most recurrent criticism have to do with something that has nothing to do with print quality that the creators of this crude and clever work. For many sides hear that Hollywood is very arrogant and cocky for wanting to go back and do something so good and that belongs to someone else (Sweden). However, it is well done film, brave, and honest adult. Long, (for some too-2hours 40 minutes-) all participants insist that there is no political agenda. Not always see them comfortable in answering question after question trying to crumble. But all that Fincher gives. And that's always at least extraordinarily exciting.
