Times Square New Years Eve

Times Square New Years Eve
You do not need an excuse to party on New Year's Eve - it's a tradition around the world. And although many people prefer to celebrate world famous places like Times Square in New York, and dinner in Paris, there are many equally charming destinations to consider. We have compiled a list of favorite cities in Eastern Europe to receive the 2012. These are Riga, Tallinn, Prague, Debrecen and Vilnius.

Winter in Riga.

Riga (Latvia), has a New Year's Eve fireworks event near the Freedom Monument (Brivibas Piemineklis), located in the center of Riga, in Brivibas bulvaris, near the old town. There are many events - live concerts, shows, crafts market - before midnight, when fireworks light up the sky.

Prague Exhibition Centre, Industrial Palace

Prague (Czech Republic) will host the biggest party in year-end the Industrial Palace Prague's fairgrounds. The show will feature many of the best Czech DJs and a dance single. The show lasts 10 continuous hours.

Tallinn (Estonia) concluded 2011 with a unique artistic celebration: the Dance of Estonia, 2011 to be held at the National Opera. Traditional foods and drinks accompany the event, which will feature the National Symphony Orchestra, the solo DJ Marilin Kongo and Havi Aivar Columbian Club. Guests can enjoy dancing in the unique atmosphere of the theater.

Kossuth Square

Debrecen (Hungary) celebrates with music by Parno Graszt Gypsy and Latin rhythms in Kossuth Square. 2012, is received by a gala concert at the Great Church.

New Year in Vilnius

Vilnius (Lithuania) holds more than the New Year on January 1: This is the day of the flag of Lithuania from 1919, when the Lithuanian tricolor was placed first in the castle tower on Gediminas Hill. Apart from the traditional concert and fireworks at midnight, you can see the changing of the flag the next day, and attend various national celebrations.
