Food Bill, the National Advisory Committee headed by Sonia Gandhi's pet project. The 2009 general election was part of the Congress manifesto.
The main provisions in the meeting were:
75 per cent and 50 per cent of rural population in the draft bill in the realm of urban households have been placed. The right of every person in the draft has been seven kg.
1. Every person in the normal range will be three kg per month and the price will be half of the minimum support price.
2. Bill in the district, state and national level grievance procedure is provided.

4. 5.4 to 5.5 million tonnes of food production to replace the existing demand projected to reach 6.2 million tonnes.
5. To August 2011 was 6.127 million tonnes of the grain stores.
