Oracle President Mark Hurd has failed to prevent the publication of court documents about the alleged sexual harassment of an employee. A Delaware court has ordered the release of the letter. The blog of The Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital has released the letter from the lawyer Gloria Allred then.
Hurd, who resigned in early August 2010 after allegations of sexual harassment and breach of trust as CEO of computer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard. This was triggered by allegations of Jodie Fisher, a 51-year-old actress and Playboy model, who had worked from 2007 to 2009 as a marketing consultant for Hewlett-Packard. Hurd and Fisher later said both to have had no sexual contacts. A review by attorneys on behalf of Hewlett-Packard had found no evidence of sexual harassment by Hurd.
