It went so fast: Sinéad O'Connor and her husband Barry Herridge have separated. Not even three weeks ago, the fourth marriage of the singer. In the separation apparently marijuana played a role in the Hochtzeitsnacht - and the fact that O'Connor, as she herself admits, is no ordinary woman.


The fourth marriage of Sinéad O'Connor, 45, has held just 16 days. The Irish singer ("Nothing Compares 2 U") announced on her website, she had separated from her husband on Christmas Eve Barry Herridge. The blame for the rapid failure of the connection O'Connor looks at the "pressure that certain people" had exerted on him in the life of Herridge. The couple had on 8 Married in December in Las Vegas.

Responsible for the fast was also from their behavior, as they have held their wedding night on the lookout for marijuana. "My husband was extremely hurt by this experience," says the singer. Then it had become clear that he would lose too much if he would remain with her.

Herridge and they had only seven days after the wedding brought together and separated in a good relationship. O'Connor said that the marriage had been too hasty. "He's a wonderful man I love him very much. I'm so sorry that I am a normal woman," said the musician. She wanted to change but do not and will never apologize for it, "complete me" to be.

O'Connor had Herridge on her 45th Birthday in a brief ceremony where the knot. As the "People" magazine reported at the time, the couple in a pink Cadillac was a kind of "Drive Through" Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas run. "My dream ceremony," O'Connor wrote on her website.
