Celebrity Wife Swap

Celebrity Wife Swap
Ted Haggard, former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, who resigned five years ago, after a gay sex scandal, will be presented Tuesday at the premiere of "Celebrity Wife Swap," a new ABC publishes The Christian post.

According to Haggar, its purpose is "to communicate hope" and show the world that his family has "resurrected" from his dark past.

"I do not think anyone I know that most closely reflects the resurrection of Christ that I, at this moment," said Haggard. "After what we went through, how that Christ has healed and restored us and built our family and blessed us, is a wonderful story of the resurrection, encouragement, faithfulness of God, faithfulness of Scripture and the Church."

When it was discovered the sex scandal, Haggard, resigned from the National Association of Evangelicals after his position at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, a mega-church he and his wife, Gayle, founded.

The fall of the pastor was terrible, a male prostitute accused him that he paid for sex during a period of three years. Haggard was also accused of using illegal drugs during their encounters with the prostitute.

Since the scandal, Haggard has been opened to the public and says he has left a new and better man. His relationship with his wife of more than 30 years also is now stronger than ever, he said.
